About

Keith Moore is a  Freelance Photographer and seasonal Interpretive Park Ranger with the National Park Service.

Keith’s passion for photography began when he was fifteen and has grown over the last decade with a focus on landscapes and nature. Keith developed a relationship to the natural world at an early age: through family trips to the National Parks, backpacking treks across the country, and his extensive environmental education. Through photography and visual storytelling, Keith hopes to connect viewers to the natural world.

After graduating college from Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Geology, Keith began working for the National Park Service at Bryce Canyon National Park. As an Interpreter, Keith’s job is to facilitate emotional, intellectual, and spiritual connections to the park’s natural and cultural resources. In addition to creating social media posts for the park, several of Keith’s photographs were used to help achieve International Dark Sky designation in 2019.

Through conservation photography and visual storytelling, Keith hopes to inspire and connect us as a society to the natural world that we are losing touch with. Rooted in a deep respect for our planet’s natural and cultural resources, Keith’s work embodies ethical and responsible practices. This means that capturing his photos never depends on baiting or harassing wildlife.

Keith’s photography is guided by principles of ethics and conservation with a deep respect for our planets natural and cultural resources.
